Just when you thought it was over....

Midterms have now come and gone... But now we are at the start of week 7. Already? Shoot... Only 3 weeks left in the term and then it's Finals Week. Where does the time go? StudyStudyStudy.

Well, at least I got to take a bit of a breather and go home for a weekend! 2 weekends ago I got to go home for a short but much needed little break. Got to surprise the boys and have a Mother-Daughter date, too :) Saturday I spent the day with Jordan and Emily watching sweaty rugby boys at WOU. Then back on the road again Sunday. Miss you guys! See you in another few weeks :)

February...?

Seriously, where does the time go? Today is February 2nd. Ahh! Well, Happy Groundhog's Day. Although... not so happy. Punxsutawney Phil saw his little shadow this morning. And we all know what that means.... Back down in his hole he goes. For us, another 6 weeks of winter. It's not like we didn't see that coming, though, right?

Since 1887, Phil has seen his shadow 99 times and failed to see it 16 times (and for those of you doing the math, there are 9 missing years on the records). A longer winter does mean more time to prepare for bikini season, ladies. So what's your excuse? You know those extra pounds you put on during Christmas and Thanksgiving? Or that New Year's resolution that you made? Let's get down to business!!!

So.... for those of you who live in COLD places, sorry. Those shorts and summer dresses that are begging to come out of hiding will just have to wait. I predict that temperatures won't warm up til the end of March. Hopefully, just in time for Spring Break.
